The Dancing Jewel of India — dancer, singer, dramatist and choreographer of the Lucknow Gharana.

Introduction
Hailed as the Dancing Jewel of India, Asavari Pawar has inherited a love for this art from her illustrious father, Padmashri Guru Pratap Pawar, MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire), who is regarded as one of the leading exponents of the Lucknow Gharana of Kathak.
Asavari took to dancing from the age of 8 as part of her father's dance troupe, Triveni, in London, and later received The Major Award, named after the then Prime Minister John Major. She has never looked back since.
She pursued her studies in the UK and continued her practice in dance under the guidance of her father, burgeoning into a dancer of immense potential and promise.
